Since the inception of Survivors Tribune it has secured strategic partnerships with organisations such as: Aegis Trust, HMDT, Genocide80twenty, Protection Approaches, Royal Wotton Bassett Academy’ s Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Programme, Northwood Holocaust Memorial Day Events, Waging Peace, Holocaust Survivors Centre and many other organisations as well as schools. Through these partnerships we have been able to participate, coordinate and organise numerous events, including the November 2015 international conference: “Preserving The Genocide Memories through Literature”, Ask Genocide Survivor Twitter chat live session held on Friday 9 December 2016 in collaboration with Genocide80Twenty and Hampton School as part of 2016 Genocide Victims Day as well as the “Learning from the past, tackling prejudice and extremism today” a roundtable discussion event hosted by Sir Eric Pickles at the House of Commons on 13 December 2016.
SURVIVORS TRIBUNE & PROTECTION APPROACHES
Protection Approaches and Survivors Tribune have partnered to offer UK schools a unique new programme allowing students to learn from the inspiring testimony of a survivor of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda and to understand the processes that lead to such identity-based violence through workshops that build resistance to prejudice and extremism today.
